Project Detail
The Pallamallawa Waste Transfer Station forms part of Moree Plains Shire Council’s broader program of upgrading community infrastructure across the LGA. The project involved significant earthworks to remediate the site and resolve long-standing drainage issues, including redirection of overland flows. These upgrades have created an all-weather, accessible facility that improves safety and usability for the local community.
Our Role
Benaiah Project Management was engaged by Moree Plains Shire Council to oversee the design, procurement and construction of the Pallamallawa Waste Transfer Station.
Following the successful delivery of these works, Council appointed Benaiah to project manage additional Waste Transfer Station upgrades across the LGA, including:
- Garah
- Biniguy
- Gurley
- Boggabilla
In parallel, Benaiah identified suitable grant funding opportunities and prepared two successful applications that secured additional infrastructure investment for the region.
