Bike Ride for Brain Cancer

Bike Ride for Brain Cancer starts today. It was set to be a 2 day, 250km ride from Sydney to The Hunter Valley, however the weather had different ideas this year!

Our office co-colleagues Kane Lawson and Ben Lloyd, Directors of Trinity Quality Interiors have been training for 6+ months to do this ride and have collectively raised over $20,000! Although for them the ride not going ahead as planned is disappointing, the money raised for the Brain Cancer Collective is the real reward. Both Kane Lawson, Director of Trinity Quality Interiors and Ben Bourke, Director of Benaiah Project Management, have both lost fathers to cancer, so this is an incredibly special and worthy cause to us.

Brain cancer kills more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer, yet remains one of the most under-researched of all the cancer groups. Unlike most cancers, brain cancer survival rates have not improved significantly over the last 30 years and remain amongst the lowest of all cancer survival rates.

The Bike Ride For Brain Cancer luckily isn’t just about the ride; it’s about the fundraising, the camaraderie and about making a difference. Donate today and join us on the road to a cure!
