Five Minutes with Kris

Kris joined us in June last year. He’s become a valued member in a short time, working on Badgally Road but one of the main things he brings to the table is photos of his cute baby twins.

What brought you to Benaiah?
My infrastructure background had merged recently into a land development project and I was keen to strengthen those skills with a development specific business.

What projects have you worked on with Benaiah so far?
A major road upgrade project in Campbelltown, Badgally Road, a medium sized subdivision development in the Blue Mountains at Glencoe Vale and a large scale master planned development at Menangle Park.

What do you love about working at Benaiah?
Good people. Everyone is open, friendly and warm. It’s just a fun group of people and a fun workplace with interesting development projects.

What kind of project would you love to work on in the future and why?

Really the Glencoe Vale project is exactly what I wanted to be aligned with, a small and interesting development with a great client. It’ll be great to see it come to fruition as it’s been in the making for 20 years. Though, I’d like to be involved in the full life cycle of a project, right from the economic feasibility and commercial assessment and taking it right through to the end.

What do your weekends look like?
Well, between my eldest two boys and the twins (being 7 months old now) our weekends are quite chaotic. They used to look like kiting, surfing, fishing, riding, camping and anything outside really but not so much these days. My wife and I still try and get to those things when we can, maybe only once a week now though!
