Raby Road
Upgrades for one of Campbelltown City's busiest roads have commenced. "Raby Road is a significant east-west link between Camden and Campbelltown City" "We want to ensure our residents, now and in the future, have high-quality infrastructure and amenity to happily live, work and play in the Camden area." - Cr Fedeli
The $7 million project is funded by the federal government's Western Sydney Infrastructure Plan, which aims to support population growth and access across the region. The works along the 2.5km of Raby Road include new traffic lights, shared pathway for pedestrians and cyclists, slip lanes, extensions of retaining walls and over 600m of landscaping. "These upgrades will ensure more efficient and safer traffic flow on a road which has become an important connection for many people across the region travelling to work via the Hume Highway" Campbelltown Mayor George Brticevic.
